I create map for ws with mapextractor, but when playnig exp not given (mapextractor copy to wow directory, than execute map, then cut directory maps and paste in directory WS, right?) client version 1.12.1

I have another problem:
When i try summoning Void walker I get an Imp, even though I hear him saying "what do U want from me?" (Void walker's summoning replay).
This is the error I get in game and in the server log:

That's pretty much it. I ran everything as the guide said, and tripple checked it...I wouldn't doubt I missed something though, but if so I can't find it.

In the Kobold\<RS, LS, WS>\conf\ folders, I edited the <realm, loggin, world>_server.conf files. I changed the "127.0.0.1" lines to the IP address I am using. Both me and my friend can connect through the internet to my server. However, after logging in with a name and password, and after the "Suggest Realm" stage, that comes up. The first time I started the server, it worked fine. However I rebooted it, and let my friend connect first after the server was loaded again, and now...well, that.

I know that in post #80 on this thread, cyberghoser1 gave an answer to it, but I'm not sure if that's quite what I'm looking for...if it is though, could someone tell me? Heh...

hey GrantHammerhoof. best guess i can give is that your realm is moving your server to inactive because it cant connect to it.

Possible problems:

Firewall add the ports you use.

Conf files aren't pointing the realm to the right port on the server.

DB yes you have to change the port in the DB as well.

your db does not read your conf files. even if it did its to lazy to add the info.

I do believe you are right.

In the WS window:

"can't find WE[<My IP Address>:<Port>] in DB"

I didn't notice it before; guess that's it. Now, for me to figure out how to fix that :biggrinth Thanks for your help, Xenophia!!

Moohahaha!! Got it working. Edited the DB with Navicat, changed an IP, and all is well. One problem however. Server works now, but me and my friend are crashing the server merely by entering Red Cloud Mesa. I know I've seen someone else mention they had this problem, but any results on how to perhaps fix it?
Actually, any time me or my friend enter a different zone, the server crashes/restarts. Only the starting zones seem to be, 'safe'.

Well kam338uk; I did what you suggested: Under the realm_list table, I changed the 'status' to '1'. The realm now shows as online, except that the realm name ("Kobold") is red ("Kobold", heh), and isn't letting me connect. Well, it will, but all it does is bring up the "Logging in to game server" message box for a moment, and then brings up the Realm Selection window again.

Hullo-- just a notice really. I took it nice and slow, installing Kobold from scratch. I edited the config files, and changed the realmlist and worldlist in the DB, and made sure everything looked okay, and it works! The server works, my friends can join, and the entire world is traversable without crashing. Happy day.

Is there a more in depth guide to all of the commands?

and also .npc kill works fine on normal npc but not with named ones ex. ragnaros or any bosses. How would I go about spawning npcs? I cant figure it out with the in game guide.

Just for clarification, I want to make sure that this will run on version 2.0.6.6337enUS. If not, what does it run on? Thank you very much for this service, and I hope to give you feedback on the product very soon.
