Hi all! jsut wanted to say that after trying a few other emus this one works the best.
one problem I have and can't seem to figure out is..
game connects, finds realm, and plays fine on the system the emu is runnin on, but the othere systems on the lan can only connect (authorize), but show the realm as offline.
any ideas what I'm doin wrong?
ps. are you goin to add the new items from Naxx into this EMU soon? none of the weapons or gear (other then the base 8 of the t3, and not the set ring) seem to be in the db. :)

I notice that on a number of quests there are certain items missing when using Kobold as well as a few DB errors on occasion that crop up in the server window and I have heard read several comments about the Kobold DB on various threads here and it has me a little confused.
I was wondering if anyone could take the time to Answer the following.
1: Whats the Difference between the dbc.rar found on /elements in the "Kobold Sql files + Tools" Sticky, and the Data Base that comes with this package?
2: Is the Mangos DB "Superior" as some people have claimed, and if so is it possible to use it with this Package?
Also, Would it be possible to get a more detailed change log when this package is updated?
Dates would greatly be appreciated, so that when you edit the Post there is no confusion as to if you have edited or updated the files.
This is an extremely wonderful, easy to use and easy to set up utility, thank you ever so much for your time in making this a very user friendly package.

Drakelord thanks once again for that you've done providing us the kobold server...well i have one question...In ragezone forums Ihavenoclue user give us Items.rar which actually is item database updated with naxx items.i am using your server,but how i can extract those items in Kobold sever?
I mean i am using navicat,i allready make a conection and i executed the bach file items...
please anyone who knows may can reply? i will appreciate that.

Qatara, download the item.rar from ihavenoclue, save it to somewhere, extract it with winrar, open your Navicat, right click on your kobold db and select console. Now open your item.sql and copy and paste everything there to the console and then press enter, the console will run for a while and then it will finish. hope this help you.

I got one question ... is it possible to play on Kobold with a deDE client?
I already used the search function but havent found a solution.
Want to know it because everytime i try to connect i get a disco.

Logging in is no problem now ...
But it seems like i cant use any admin account
i can login as a normal player but as soon as i change the playerlevel to 3 i cant login with the account anymore

i was using Vista RC2 to try use kobold and just got that error message, luckly for me i had a spare 2600+ XP-m Athlon 1gb ram pc (my old o/c rig) to set up a windows server 2003 to run kobold on :)Quote:

I though it had to do with the account im using on Xp, but im an Admin..so im not sure.

I also find some NPC lost .e.g the warrior trainer in storm wind. where are the npcs definded in serverlite .
