so, i got sometimes this error too, but only when closing server with ctrl+c and when i launch it back all server data is saved correctly so i think it's a minor problem..now if you got this error when server is up i don't know yet why.Quote:

I downloaded the .exe file from the first post.
I ran the file and it extracted to a directory.
I control+alt+deleted and 'end tasked' mysql-nt and apache.
I went to extracted dir and ran start.bat file then the other 3 bat files.
After a long loading process the server was running, flawlessly.
I changed my wow's reallist server to "localhost"
I loaded up 1.12.2 (australian / us edition) and logged in using admin/admin.
Created a human paladin
Loaded the charactor and pressed escape to end the movie.
Selected myself and typed /modify level 60 and /modify gold 100000000 and finally .go x y z (of burning stepps - a lvl 55-60 zone)
All was spawned beautifuly and agro worked as normal.
This whole pack is fucking amazing and i would reconmend it to any noobs.
Of course the database could be better... and it needs AI but that will come. This 'double click simplicity' was simply amazingly easy. WELL DONE!
Some questions:
Is there a way to learn all spells for a specific class?
Is there a quick way to add an item set rather then having to /modify item <ID> for each item?
Why are the 'high' level areas not spawned correctly such as silithis... cmon people these are the areas most people will spend the most time in!
Is there a way to export a charactors profile so if i wanted to quickly load into a lvl 60 paladin with all items and spells and custom talents i could?

Quick question anyone: I got my server up and running, great detail instruction on setting up server. But one thing, when installing apache server, what login and password to use, so when opening Manager Tool, we don't get a error? By the way, this repack is awesome.... thnks

Bit new at Ludmilla and all that so don't be too harsh if this problem is a simple on to solve. But after opening everything up I try to log in and I get put back to my desktop screen with this error:
Your login files are corrupt. Please re-install the game.
Of course I'll reinstall if need be, but I was just wondering if this has a quick fix or if there's something I can do to solve it without going through the time of re-installing. It takes ages! Cheers, and thanks for the pack!

when accepting connections appeared then i runned RS_ and LS_ .bats
then i tried to connect my server (client version 1.12.2) and tried login as admin and password admin...

A lot of Naxx items arent there.. But I KNOW Frostfire and ALL tier 3 gear is there! I've tested em myself :) Find IDs HERE
And the Kennyrepack compressed file is not included in this pack, its already installed in it.. But you can get it HERE
As for d0hacker's problem:
Use Navicat and go into the database, open up "realm_list" table and change "status" to 1 (usually stands on 0 or 3 when its showing as offline!)

Zer0xe had a problem with "Validating Game version" thingy.. and he ran the blizzard repair tool.. After that he changed realmlist.wtf back to set realmlist localhost and then it worked!
That explains a lot!! Everyone who has this problem might have a hackpatch installed or something like that, something that changed some files.. Run the repair tool and change the realmlist.wtf and youll be great again =)

If anyone else was having problems with executing the trainer.slq file on version two of this repack I found this error when I was running it saying that no such thing as wow-server existed. To fix this open the trainer.sql and change:
To:Code:SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0;
use wow-server;
Maybe uploading a new version of that file is in order,Code:SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0;

would it be possable to get a release that works with the current engb/euro client. If I was the only person having the vaildate problem I would think i was doing something wrong. But theres atleast 20 posts on the thread with people all having problems using the euro client. If its not possable to do a release then mabe you could tell us how we could fix it?

If youre in as GM (admin - admin) , Then try using ".commands" to see commands :)

But a thing I HAVE noticed is that the new 1.12.2 screws a few things up im afraid .... However its not even needed! It fixes something for the spanish client.. Maybe you should try downgrading your WoW to 1.12.1.. ? (Try repair first and see if it degrades.. If youre out of luck, you might have to re-install)
Its only an advice, and it doesn't hurt to try now, does it ? ;)

okay :P can anybody help me out here real fast, I downloaded the emu, installed got it running perfectly within 30 minutes, I try and connect, I get in get into the server (where you can create a toon etc.) I create a toon, jumps me back to the toon creation part but with no toon ;\ help plz

another bug: mobs dont attack at the mages. They come towards them, stop at some distance and stay there. Only mobs that have spells or ranged attacks can hit mages.

hey, I have this irritating 'target needs to be in front of you' bug when I was playing in Burning stepps. My character will not stop shoothing the target eventhough its already dead unless i move somewhere. when i kill the target using melee, 'Target too close' error msg will come up, when i step back, my character will continue shoot the dead body:2gunsfiring_v1:... until i the body disappears. however using bow doesn't seems to have the problem.... anyone can help?

It' happening at other places too. all range weapon+ammo, I'm playing a warrior don't know if hunters have them too.
another bug: I log in the game, played a few hours and became lvl 23. Then logged out. Today I log in again and my level is still 23 while my hit point and mana is 1/10 of the actual values.

Hey guys. This release is incredible, especially someone who was only here for the days of the original Blizzhackers. I just want to make sure i'm following these directions right though, i've read quite a few topics and i think i may be missing something here. Here's what i've done
-Installed the base client
-Installed patc 1.1.2
-Using the Kobold_GSE_repack i extracted it
-First i extraced the DBC's and placed them in my WS folder (i believe this is wrong?)
-Extracted the maps and placed them in a "maps" directory of the WS folder
-changed my realmlist to 127.0.0.1. It seemed to correspond to all the conf folder files.
-I ran the different bat files in the right order. (a note when running WS_server_Alive.bat it seems to give me lots of errors stating "Failed creating GO from DB! Skipping..." I think this has to do with the DBC extracting step)
-When i go to logon with the account Admin, Admin. It says "unable to validate game version"
I've seen other posts with the "unable to validate game version" error. I've tried doing the repair thing. checked my realmlist etc. nothing seems to have fixed it. Also, what does the "Failed creating go from DB!" error mean when running the ws_server_alive.bat?
Sorry for the wall of text. But believe me, help would be greatly appreciated.

I was getting the same game version error untill I did a clean reinstall useing patch 1.12.1 and it runs fine now... as for the DBC thing I dont know I get it and was under the same impresion but I dont see anything in the running game wrong

Make sure you ran the start.bat (it needs MySQL running) first and all the IPs are correct. Also I've noticed for some very odd reason, it's just plain better that for a SP server the IPs are all set to 127.0.0.1 .

Worked! I got a bit confused with all of this "can't have Apache or MySQL running before you try to execute the game" thing, so I was shutting off Apache and MySQL before launching WS_Server. So I just clicked the start.bat, clicked the WS_Server and bang - straight in.

Hi, I got my server up and running, am able to play in LAN, but when I put it on WAN, I can only get 1 person to connect to my server. Do anyone know why is this happening as my other friends can login and create char, but get dc when they click on "enter realm"? Seems like they are getting time out, I did change the WS config, RS config, LS config, realmlist, worldserverlist, realm_list to my LAN IP address. Let me know if I am missing something, I am using cable modem, running server through Linksys router, I did forward all my port to 4200,3725,8085, & 3724 and have check my firewall to allow those files to connect. Hello everybody. Very promising emulator here, had a lot of fun with it on single player, although when doing the Lan/Internet thing I seem to be encountering problems.
I've tried a few different methods (all found on the forums here) of setting all the configs and db's up, but the furthest I've been able to get is the Realm Selection screen/box with my realm selected in red, as seen here It even has the same thing now on the server computer. When I try to enter, I see the logging into game server dailog for a moment, thn it goes back to this screen, and my web realm status shows the login server as green, but my realm as red. although in the db i have placed the status to 1 ( it has a habit of going back to 3. I do not why)
I've forwarded all the nessearary ports, and now I'm stumped.
I don't suppose any of you kind folk could shed any light on my pridiciment? Any help would be most appreciated, from me, and a few of my old guildies.

@alvatron Personally I'd use your normal IP not the LAN even if it is on your lan. Just works better. The thing is fussy.
@ZzyH Ok well I, on a normal basis, see the realm in red yet still get a good connection. Make sure when you edit the realm_list in the DB while the server is running. Best I could say is double check my guide and keep trying. I'll look into that though. Someone's got me stumped atm though.

I've gotten my friend to connect to the server fine and he's currently playing about on it, but I, on the other hand, am still on the looping logging into game server/Realm selection screens. I've tried altering my realmlist file for local connections and external ones too, but to no avail. I really don't know what else to do
Cobra101, what do you mean "normal IP"? Is that my WAN IP or the local (127.0.0.1)?
Does this repack have Kennys 3.0 sql database updates as well as the updates made with server files? From what I've read I didn't see you mention you updated to Kenny 3.0 database? (Or 3.1 for that matter)
download the pack(repacked by Drake the one 25ms size) then delete all tables from kobold database and run kenny's repack v3.1 in it

Hi all, I have a similar network problem as the other guys. Whenever im trying to make a play to join me over the internet i get him connected till the realm list and then when he presses ok it gets stuck on logging in to server.
I have a router and my local ip is 192.168.1.2
my wan ip is dynamic. All the ips are set to my local. I cant use my WAN ip directly since im behind NAT. The router has forwarded the ports 4200,3725,8085, & 3724 TCP/UDP.
Any help would me much appreciated.
