Do you need a website

I have my own little private server for just me and my friends..... but my friends can't connect. I have tried what all the guides say. I have used both my external ip and my LAn ip in the config files. and everyone gets the ... connecting .......... disconnected. In my login server box nothing shows up

Do you NEED a website? Well frankly the answer is NO. You can manually input all your friends account names and Passwords into the server yourself.
However, using a webpage is much more convienient for both you and your friends because they can make their own accounts and assign their own passwords.

If your firends can't connect, they ned to make sure they have their realmlist.wtf edited correctly

eg: set realmlist <your external ip>

Or another reason is, perhaps you are behind a router, and need to open the ports needed for WAN access

Ok i have tried both the ip ive gotten of of a site like findmyip or what ever and the one u get from "ipconfig /all" both havent worked. Second how do you open the ports of my router

Depends on what router you have? try portforward.com or something similiar
