Dynamically make new accounts avail?

Thanks for all the guides here. Got my first server up and running in no time with Antrix Core 290, MySQL 5.0, MySQL Admin Pack, TerraNet v5, maps/scripts/dbc files, WoW 2.1.2 client all running on a single winxp pro home desktop. Good sh*t guys/gals thanks a ton.

I had a couple of noob questions.

I'm not using any web registration front end stuff. I just added some accounts manually with the MySQL command line client. I had to stop and restart the server to make them work. (which isnt really that big a deal for my own personal server with friends) I was wondering if there is a way to make the server recognize the new records in the account table without a restart though? (i did find the nice restart tool/util in my searches, but i'm assuming that would boot people logged in too)

What is the best way to terminate the server apps from memory? X button, ctrl-c, task manager?

I'll prob figure this one out as I play more with the commands I found posted here. But if anyone knows why I die when I typed the !kill command with an NPC targeted. (mob and I both died) I'd like to iron this kink out before showing off to friends, because when I die too, its not very impressive. Details.

Thanks to all the smart ppl here, I was telling friends today I'd have a server up and going tonite, though none of them believed me. I cant wait to tell them tomorrow and try having them log in tomorrow night. muahahaha

Just use a web server front end, i have the same setup as u, but i have a account creation website using php in my antrix folder. Not only can people crate accounts on the fly, (takes a few minutes to register) but i dont have to restart my server ever, also I can check quick stats from my servers stats.xml from my home page.
