Error retreiving character list

Okies, so I've followed this guide right here:
Build Your Own WoW Server

But used some different files (Mangos_2503_ScriptDev131.rar, dbc_1.12.1.zip, sdb0.5.1Full.zip)
I am running WoW 1.12.2 and i'm using Navicat for mySQL database handling.

I have set up a server name and ip (using localhost at the moment but will change it to my external IP after I get it to work properly)

When I log in to the server with username administrator and password administrator I can see my server in the realm ilst (Thunderaan) and log into it. There I can press create character and get to the character creation screen, and set my name and whatnot. When I click create character, it goes back to character selection screen and brings up following error message: "Error retrieving character list".

Any idea what's wrong here? Is it because im running silver 0.51? Or because I'm running WoW enGB 1.12.2?
Also, I am not running the spell_anticheat thing as instructed (because it's not included in any folders) but a guy that helps me with this said it doesn't matter with the latest version.

If anyone could link me the exact files to use that'd be nice. Or at least give me pointers as to what I am doing wrong here, kthxbye :P

Use this for your server MaNGOS Rev 2512+ScriptDev. 131+Patches by bogie I was having the same problems with the repacks 2502 + 2503, this one works pretty good. Just delete ALL tables from your mangos database, and apply the mangos.sql file (Silver 0.52 full).
