you must start realmd.exe first, and then mangosd.exe

bah, i've tryed maps, from 1.12.0 maps from 1.12.1 and they did work with the core, saying they were outdated ..., thikning of ad.exe for this core wich i found no-were, so plz shoot a link for ad.exe, or the maps going with it

Have you tried setting your realmlist.wtf to 127.0.0.1?

@blastboy you are ussing wrong client simple as that you need client 6144 not 6180 .
@maxo-tt you dont have any map files in the map dir as far as i can figure it out .
To make maps for this version you need the old ad.exe and extract maps from 1.12.2 with it place the map dir in the main mangos dir and your done .

i have no this problem. :) i extract this map files myself. this server is not better. this server has many errors. :) i test and got this problem too. wait for new updates ;)
