Few qustions about Antrix

Hello,
I've set up a server (thanks attila :P) and I noticed some things in the game.
The first of them is the instance events. Is it possible to make them run on a private server and how to do this? For example the final boss in Hellfire Ramparts isn't flying. Instead his standing on the floor waiting to be killed and won't spawn any chest. Same goes for other instances.
Another thing I want to know is how to update the server DB with the latest fixes and additions (patch 2.1.2). I saw the sticky on top of the page and I wonder if I just add the data from the .sql file to my existing DB in MySQL, or do I have to do something else.
