Gameobject/Spawn issue
Ey.
I would just like to point out, that im 95% sure this is a core related issue.
But I thought I would post it here anyway, incase someone else has had this issue, and has been able to fix it. Or indeed if it might be a db issue.
Server Setup:
Core:- Mangos Revision 3733 + ScriptDev2 Revision 45 win32 By Albatror
Database:- Silvermoons Rev6 Manual sql fixes and patches.
Problem:
Now the reason why I think this is a core issue, as it's been doing it from core 3500+ and it's still doing the same thing. "Did not do this on 1.12.1"
When you spawn a gameobject "Say portal for example" it would add it, but within 10-20mins it's gone, same with creatures.
In order for me to save an object/spawn I need to add it, then reboot server.
This is a really anoying issue for me, as I can't add content to my server anymore..
I've contacted people that compile the cores I normaly use, and i'll find out what they have to say on this matter. But thought I would ask in here, as someone else might know of a cure.
This did not happen on my 1.12.1 servers, only since i've done the 2.0.12 TBC setup that it's started todo this.
Any help on this matter would be great, thanks for your time.

Re: Gameobject/Spawn issue
Yeah its been an issue i've been aware of for quite sometime now.
I believe it has to do with the fact that spawns are all loaded at startup. So when you spawn something new, it gets saved in SQL, but isn't permanently saved in the memory. You can move away from the zone and come back, but you will see the spawns you made have disappeared.
Luckily MaNGOS can boot fairly quickly, just give the server a shutdown and restart, and you will find the spawns are all back there.

Re: Gameobject/Spawn issue
Yeah, since cores 3500+ thats what i've had todo, it's anoying..
And since you can't do that when you have a server with say 20+ users, because each time you add content you need to reboot, damn anoying..
