[Guide] "Where are all the up-to-date ascent server files?"

Okey, some of you, who just are here for the damn server files.
It's not that easy, you will find old revs of the server but not the up to date.
Posting up-to-date compiled server files would be a full time job.

So, heres how you get it:
You need to download the source files using a svn program.
For windows I use TortoiseSVN
(Download: 32 Bit: TortoiseSVN
64 Bit: TortoiseSVN)

So, you make a folder, right click in it and click SVN Checkout, you put in this URL:
svn://emupedia.com/svn/ascent/

Then the problem is: YOU NEED TO COMPILE IT! :O

So, you would need a compiler, most people use Visual Studio 2003 or 2005.
Thats not free tho.
You could search for a free compiler.

So, for linux:
You should have subversion installed.
If you have aptitude its something like 'apt-get install subversion'.
And to get svn you type svn co svn://emupedia.com/svn/ascent/

it is free the visual studio, im pretty sure i think >< , look there is already threads that arre updated daily to give em out, but thanks anyways
