hey me and a friend are makin a server we are runnin it on hamachi atm we are usin accent... could someone please help us .. how can we make my friends mysql/navicat allow me to accses it from my computer so i can help with adding items,npc's and such thanks

Your friend has to configure the mysql server to accept remote root connections if you are going to use the root account. Then you have to set the ip to connect to your friends ip (hamachi ip). He also has to make sure he does not have a firewall blocking any connections to his computer.
I have help him , on msn then i sy can i jooin what network name and password on hamachi

netname imafag
netpassword gofuckyourself
