Hard to connect

Hello everyone, We made a server using WoWEMU.
Everything is fine but the problem is:

If we want to connect its hard... sometimes he wont go further then 'hand shake' or 'connected' or after logging in on the realm he just stands there and no character is displayed... so we have to login/logout 20 times or what ever to finally get in...

someone know a solution to this?
and all my ports are open, people can create a account but cannot log in.
they get the same problem as i have above..

please solutions, tips or anything

it might be the computer you are hosting the server on, or maybe ur internet speed. post your server pc specs, and if you use the same computer to do other stuff while running the server, don't.

20MBit internet connection (ADSL +2)



also, when I use MyWarCraftStudio, everything seems oke.
when I try to look at a weapon, I can see the shape but thats it...
they appear to be blank.... any idea's someone? ; ;

use the latest mywarcraftstudio, then u can see textures. If viewing the models is all you want to do (without editing MPQs or aything), I suggest using wowmodelview. It's awesome! ^,^

Wowemu hates being hosted on the same machine that the client is running on.

I ran into this issue a long time ago, and was eaisly fixed by dumping the server on another computer.

If you don't have another computer to host it on, then you can expect to run into issues like this untill you do.

When running on same machine as the client it will take a good amount of attempts to log in, and once ur in, it don't always load up charactor selection correctly, but like I said, dump it on another pc and lan play it.
