[HELP][ASCENT]UTF-8 Unicode

Hello All.
I decided to localize the server (e.g quests) into georgian language and it's need UTF-8 support, without it it shows ???? and not აბგდ. how can i do that server support UTF-8 unicode? i put UTF-8 unicode in mysql but it doesn't help

Have you tried to write not the actual symbols but the symbol codes? (Like in javascript, to get all codes u need go to start > run > enter CHARMAP). I am sure you can do it with symbols :)

thanks for advise i thinks it will work but how do you think it's real to write 20000+ strings with the codes? :juggle:

nobody else know how can I do UTF-8 support server and client? i wont to translate all text in game and write in native language to just i need utf-8 support ppl help

i beleave u can translate the encoding of the tables and db.
when you create a new db you can normally always choose.
just select UTF-8 and it might work.

wait your trying to convert the entire server to your native tongue? (client reads server so you just need to change server) I honestly couldn't tell you dude sorry i would need more info so your'e going to need to explain further

yes of course i do that I create DB with Charset utf8 and collation utf8_general_ci


than i replace in world.sql file charset-latin1 to charset-utf8

I can't even read that.. heh. What I think is the problem, is that the client is only told to read English, if you're using the US version.
