[HELP-ASCENT] Why Does Ascent Crash after Connecting to Logonserver?

It just connects then crashes randomly :S

I'm also getting the same problem. I was using the stable ascent 2.0 strain, but wanted to upgrade because of a number of issues the server was having in-game and wanted to see if upgrading would help.

Ascent.exe loads everything fine until it connects to the logonserver.exe. At that point it says it took 0ms to connect, then pauses, and crashes.

I never had this problem with the 2.0 stable version of ascent, and am wondering why it is occuring with another version that is supposedly stable?

Okay, ive sorted it. Mine doesnt crash anymore. Its lots of updates needed in the world and character databases. Try searching around for them :)
