[HELP] Can you edit WoW?

Yeah hi, I do a bit of skinning in MU Online and was wondering is skinning possible in WoW? if so or if a question liek this has already been asked please link me.

Yes, it is VERY possible. Textures must be in blp format though (you can find converters), then packed into an MPQ file. Also, if you want to use the new textures for custom items (instead of substituting an item's current texture), you need to add the info into the display info DBCs (itemdisplayinfo.dbc, creaturedisplayinfo.dbc, etc.) and include them in your MPQ file. But for v2.0+ wouldn't it be nearly impossible. At v2.0 Blizzard stopped data miners by removing most of the files, including textures I think.

nope, they just collected them into 1 big MPQ called common.mpq
