Ok here is the catch i have found insteresting server files for a funserver from gnx.ro (this is not a spam) you can go downloads and in the botom there is an ascent funserver for 2.3.0 I was wondering can i make a server from those files and what guid do i take?

Or do i have to download an ascent databese for character and map? and use these fails to launch it?

tbh the best way to make a server if you wish to be using it public is to compile it your self, it may take some time but its worth it
