    hi I'm new here and i need some help please to compiling ascent core
    i have vs2005 professional need i something else? or modifications to do on the vs2005 options?

    You should install SP-1 for VS 2005.

    Service Pack 1

    You must install and configure Platform SDK to use Visual C++ 2005.

    PLATFORM SDK

    Carefully follow the instructions here. Follow the first 4 steps completely and the first half of step 5! DO NOT just download and install. Follow the instructions or you will not be able to compile.
