[help] many npcs not working

now i realise this is an on going project, and im not expecting everything to be done for me.

but iv found many npcs that dont function like they should, and some that used to work that dont anymore.

for examples..

none of my guards have anything to say now. the two words they have to click on dont do anything eg 'unknown' and 'talk to' (i think thats right)

and

the horse vendors dont sell horses, yet the blood elf stabler sells the right stuff.

and the engineering ppl, wont allow me to take up quests or attempt to become gnome/goblin engineer.


ok. is this because of..

incomplete sql tables
or
my mangos scripts folder being non complete.

id happily go about adding missing horses to the vendors, but i have no idea which bit to change.
