help please i'm on the edge of a breakdown :(

i just can't seem to figure it out, i'm using the forum as my last resource, i tought about all these thing for 3 days straight

I just wanted to set up a mangos tbc private server, did it some time ago but i forgot some passages.

1) i need to patch wow to 2.0.10 (tbc or normal wow?... didn't understand....and why do i have to have normal wow 1.12.x already installed? when i install tbc it also installs the normal wow)

2) i have the 2.0.0.5991 tbc and is 2gb large... is it good?... is there another tbc install pack that is version 2.0.0.6080?... installed tbc 2.0.0.5991 but i just can't seem to find patches for it

3) all i need to know is what to place and where to place it, please specify the version of the patch on each passage

those who will help me won't realize the goodness they just did
