[HELP] Renaming Creatures

How do i do it?

I've tried editing the creature_names table, and then i restart my server and delete my cache folder and the names dont change, so im obviously doing something wrong.

I want to change the name of some mobs, and the subname of the vendors..

ok.

if you using Heidi or Sqlyog, everytime you change anything make sure to press refresh button , because with these 2 programs , sometimes (not 100%) it doesnt change unless you hit refresh.

and ofc delete cache folder and restart ascent

I feel so dumb... I restarted the logonserver instead of ascent. No wonder i didnt see the changes lol

I tried deleting cache in wow/cache, hitting save and refresh object browser in sqlyog, I even rebooted the pc and server and they still do not change names. I change the names under creature names. Am I doing something wrong?

Also make sure you hit SAVE in sqlyog(dont know about the other SQL programs) but if you dont save then it wont work(obviously) so just make sure you are hitting the little disk icon when changing things

I did make sure to hit save. They show in the table as being changed, just not in game.

sweet thanks! I do get an error when I start it. It says my db has an error and I have to do it manually. Is that bad? I am using Cosa Nostra. It will open however if I uncheck the error check box. What should I do? Thanks
