[help] SQL ERROR

i had all my sql stuff working and when i reset my comp it stoped working and now i get:
connection failed due to: access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' <using password: YES>
anyoe help? thanks

Nvm i got it to work but now got 2 new prob
1:When i create a charater it doesnt appear
2:When i pick my char and login to game, right when it finishes it kicks me back to char select and says "Login Failed"

First of all you have a password you don't even know for the user 'root'
Second : remake the character database
