Help with Mangos Connection
My Kobold V2 server is working fine, there seems to be no bugs whatsoever yet with it, but i'm having trouble with connections.
If i set the conf in WS RS & LS folder to 192.168.1.3 (My Local IP) it works, but if i set them to outkastwow.servegame.com (My Dynamic DNS) the World Server goes into a continual loop.
So if i change them back, I change the ip's in the database to outkastwow.servegame.com, when i try to connect from my local pc, it wont connect.
How can I get it to allow connections from the local network and external, I have a few port forwards currently to 192.168.1.3: 4200, 3724, 3725, 8080-8085, 80.
I have also setup the hosts file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts to have 192.168.1.3 outkastwow.servegame.com. on all pc's on the local network. But this has not fixed anything.
Can someone please tell me whether i keep my local ip in the WS RS & LS conf folder, and put the DNS in the database tables with realm info, and what ports to forward.

you should use your local ip in the mangos.conf and realmd.conf files and in the table "realmlist" in realmd database you must use "outkastwow.servegame.com" in the "address" part.
Hope this helps.

ok, i thought that was the case, i know where the real config is in the realm db, but there is also worldserver_list & realm_list in the kobold table. Do i leave them as my local ip or change them to the dns?
okay, sorted it all out, now me and my mates can play on my server, and the website works, a few things i gotta fix on there though.
But i noticed one problem in game though, low level monsters chase after me, e.g Level 5 Mangy Wolf chased me as a GM at level 60.
