Help with mangos..Realmd.exe and Mangosd.exe

hey guys i need help like really ive been trying to search the forums for an anwser but i still cannot find it. My problem is this:

I install navicat and Mysql and i extracted my mangos to C:\mangos in local disk.
the problem is when i click realm.exe and mangosd.exe they close automatically like the second i click it. i changed the ip and username and password from the.conf files. one thing i should add is that my realm.conf and mangosd.conf files are Bak files. and the icons to the mangosd.exe and realmd.exe are blank. any idea how to fix this?

don't change the ip's!!! leave them 127.0.0.1

Remove the .bak in the extension edit the files as specified and all should work :)
