Help with NCDB

    Question Help with NCDB

    i have rev 2132 sumthing close .. i made 2 tables .. character , world ... i used the tool everythins fine .. put maps in ... now i click logonserver.exe... gets to Hooking Signals .. fine , Ascent.exe ..... it cannot connect to the realm! :( ..

    did you change the "change_me_logon" passwords in your config files?
    1 is in ascent, other in logon must match.

    Yea i changed both to Ascent .. the password .. still! :(

    if you have set it up as 2 seperate databased 1 called character and the other as world.
    Check you cong in logon.cong that database is set to character not your world

    I would really suggest attempting to set it up on Linux instead. It runs much smoother, and we have deployed a Cluster of Ascent Servers. If you ever decide to try it on linux, I would be glad to help.

    Shutup about Linux it's really annoying. If people want to use Linux then they will.

    As for the problem make sure all the IPs are right.
