How do i run 2 realms at once?

i have gathered as much that you need to copy ascent folder so you have 2 then link them to 1 realm server so a basic structure would be

----Ascent 1-----     ----Ascent 2-----
                          ||
                      Realms.exe

a better suggestion than ace anyway....more uhm constructive :)

here is how I did it, without the realmserver.

1. You need 2 copies of ascent.
2. Open your copied ascent and delete the logonserver and logonserver.conf
3. Create your new characters and world databases. Accounts will be used by both realms.
4. In copied ascent, open ascent.conf and change worldserverport to something other than 8129. I use 8130. Also change your database settings for new db's.
5. Open your copied realms.conf, and on the realm1 ip line end, put the same port number as step 4.
6. Forward your new, second realm port.

1. Idk where the guide is
but this is what you need to do
I'm using Ascent rev2401
Make a new folder for each realm
and in that folder should be:
the DBC folder
script_bin (which has the DLL's)
ascent.* (conf exe and pid)
all your DLL's
and realms.conf
Also make sure each realm has a seperate port in realms and ascent.conf
(ex: first one has 8129 second has 8130)

2. If you're using SQLyog then right-click on the database then click on "restore from SQL dump"
find the SQL update file and click execute
If when executing SQL updates there's errors don't worry about it that's normal for some of the updates.
