If your behind a router, you have to port forward, type in 192.0.0.1 in your address box, and you should find it, search google for port fowarding. You might have it blocked under windows firewall

Never ever open up port 3306 on router; you will give direct access to MySQL server (while only Mangos is supposed to connect to it, probably on localhost too)

    Open Port>?

If you dont want to allow access to MySql then change the port number on the mangos server to a differnt port.

and depending on what your routers brand is is what you will use to connect to it. being
192.168.1.1 or what ever it might be.
btw the gateway on your computer when you do a ipconfig is normally the ip to access the router by

    Click on the pic.

    1) Do you have a firewall installed on your PC. If yes, disable temporary to perform the installation.
Read your firewall manual on how to open up the port 3306.

    2) If you're install MySQL a second time around, remember to uninstall the existing MySQL program and manually delete the MySQL folder. If you don't delete the MySQL folder, you will receive the access denied error message when you try and install MySQL the second time.

oki then you need to shut it down

ctrl+alt+del then you can shut it down , find the mysql-nt.exe

then you must delete everything of mysql 1) in confrugration/software there you delete mysql and Navmysql , then in folder c:/programefiles/, you delete folder mysql and navMysql , that wil do it

im gonna try to find a guid for you router

    after that reboot your comp.

Then the IP address you are typing in is not your router website.

    Try this:

    Run->CMD->ipconfig.

    Tell us your default gateway.

damn i think your computer is mest up a little :o)

normaly when you give for example 10.0.0.138 the router webpage must come , it cannot be that google shows , then there is a problem, so i think your computer is mest up little , so if you like to fix it , try going back with your systeem , a day that you think your computer was more stable than now , if that not change anything !? clean windows xp is the best option :o)
