how do you create the glow for weapons

one more absolutely random question how do you add the glow to the shoulder armour and stuff cos i have just downloaded a antrix server to see what the debat was all about and i notice that the one i downlaoded has armour with sort of a mist glowing round it which covers the whole body but i was wondering it you need special software to create it or is it spell ids ???? oh and thanks for the replys on the last one

i think its a enchant thing...in the database...somehow...idk...

This would have to be a client-side-only (only the folder with a custom MPQ would see it) edit. And you would probably have to create/patch your own custom MPQ. The enchants or 'glows' that are on shoulders are coded to the specific models. I've only seen the glows themselves moved around a couple times, and they were done by people very comfortable using cryects command line tools...

it's not easy, at all, but it's not impossible either.
I wish I could tell you more, but I've only read here and there, and played with it only a little bit, and that was a long time ago really...

it will be either enchants or some armour, such as some tier 6 sets have their own glow, but most of this is built into the game....though there maybe a way to put it on, but i have no idea on how to do it :)
