Can't help you with this.
1) I dont know which core you're running
2) I think if you're not able to find the place where you edit an account to GM, you shouldn't be running a server.
I'd suggest to learn a bit about MySQL and how an average gameserver communicates with the database.

login mysql database-> Logon DBC-> Account. Look where it mention GM. Under ur character; change ur status to Az.
Did you try to login onto "administrator" account?
If you want to manually set gm on other account goto your realmd DB, in table "account" find your account and change value of "gmlevel" to whatever you want (0-player,1-moderator,2-game master,3-administrator)+ ingame type .gm on
btw: how you made this server online if you don't know this?
Most times it's just inside the console.
set <user>
set gm <user>
set level <user>
set lvl <user>
setgm <user>
and then add <space> 3 at the end.
Giving your user lvl 3 access which is Game Master GM.
If that doesn't work.
then you just need to give is the propriate info so we can atleast help you.

You don't need to "learn" mysql.
I can't program for shit, still i have many times used web scripts with sql and i ran a mangos platinum server for a long time, you get to know it.
I just advice that experience with web scripts is really nice since it both involves the same way if you are talking about sql.
Just look data and insert requirements to column "GM" one example in some emus: ADM
