How to create Webpage for Kobold?

I've seen some similar threads asking the same question I'm about to ask, but i think my problem is different. I downloaded kobold using an amazing repack on ehre, got it up working and everything, and its all great. I eventually want to make it so other people can play, so I want the web page to work. The version of kobold that I downlaoded came with a www folder, which holds all the server information. Now here comes my question and it may be retarded but what the hell do I do with this to make it so other people can see it, do i need actual webhosting, because from what I understand the page is run off my server? I edited the config file to work with my dynds( example.selfip.org) and it shows the site to me, but when I ask a friend if he can see it he says he gets the no page error. I also tried this on my downstairs computer and all it did was start up my router setup.

So if anyone can help me, Id really appreciate it.

I know this is going to sound horribly noobish, but how do I do that, in the config.php file in the www folder or somewhere in the db? Also, do i need anything running, or just my server running for this to work?

I understand that ppl use an apache web server program to host the pages.

yeah I saw some link saying to use a program called Easy PHP, but i had NO idea what to do with it, all I want is a site where people can log in and view status, i dont need anything pretty, this page ti came with is just fine, its just getting other people to see it seems to be the problem.
