hello, i can't update my wow cata beta

i'm on windows 7 (home professional)

when i open wow (or the launcher) it says: can't validate game version...

i gave admin rights to wow.exe but same error!

please help me, thanks

Just wait till december 7th

The Cataclysm is out, and if you want it, make a copy of 3.3.5 (WotLK) and start your launcher. It will update it to 4.0.1, and the update is over 4GB.

There aren't any private servers running as that version, so its pointless.

No no database since it isn't released yet.
Getting the client running 4.0.1 isnt any problem but it won't have anything in it just a large sandbox.

Developement takes time and I doubt any will have a release even ready this year that works average.

Just wait till core + db officially support patch 4.01 and cataclysm...
I don't remember how long it took for mangos and databases to support patch 3.0.1 and wotlk but it did take a long time.
U better off just using 3.3.5a server because world db's still releasing updates for it. For 4.0.1 u gonna have to make the world db yourself or just wait like the rest of us :P
