Inconveniences with Kobold using Kenny Repack

Right, so I go and get the server running, then start a couple characters with me and my brother playing on a LAN network, then soon I find Mythril and Dark Iron, and etc. I cant mine it!!!! So I decide to go back to many miners in the world and find out that no teaches the highest mining skill! How do i make it so there is someone to teach it?
And On the side note of Skills, the Alchemy skill doesn't level up when I make potions... why not? How do I fix this?
And whoever did the Kenny Repack made a mistake!!! They wrote "I would like some weapon TRAINIG." instead of "TRAINING" Not that this is a problem at all.
