I dunno if this is normal but when i import the wo and gameobj stuff (from the another pc) i can c on WS command screen that it skipps almost everything (something about beging double orso). And a 2nd thing is that lots trainers (like the skinners) arent working, is there a gm command how i can add this manually, or somewhere in the database?
okey now the server starting to get somewhere. do the wheader work? i cant see no difrent.
Yeah, i get quite a few of those as well, on startup. Seems like i still can't train from a trainer. At least that pack made it so i could load some instances.Quote:

hm I think I followed the guide letter for letter but running the WS it eventually shuts down (after about 40 seconds of loading) and restarts again in a loop. The last three rows before restart are:
14 "time" E Network: Cannot bind listener to address: No error
14 "time" E WorldSrv: Can't start listening login server socket.
14 "time" S Python: scripting shut down ->>>
Any idea's whats up?
check the worldserver_list
and there is something with your network ?
i didn't get this error from the luddy emu

Honestly, i wouldn't mind a backup of your database too. Might fix things.
Is there a way to setup the database without using navicat? Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Hey everyone, heres my question:
The server is up and running but has a current cap of 50 players (running kobold lumilla 0.4 and 1.12.1). how do we increase the number of players that can connect?
check the luddy root/ws/scripts/config.py or a file from there can't remember wich one there should be the player limit
thinki almost got it all setup right however when i try to logon i get the offline thing happening. i can get it to show using the method mentioned in earlier post (change status to 1)
then when i do get it to show it acts like im gonna get in and immediatly goes back to realm selection screen.
also i get to errors:
1. disconnecting players due to broken link to ws[192.168.1.100:3724]
2. logonsrv: protocol error - login packet too short
any help would be greatly appreciated. ty

Great guide very well structured. But when I start the WS bat file i get the following :

Anyone any ideas as this just loops constantly. I've tried running RS and LS and they come up fine, I can login via the client and select realm (after setting the realmList to 1) but then get disconnected from the server.

I think I found a solution to the exploration problem.
Seems to be that the readme.txt file is telling the incorrect location, you should put the maps folder that you generate in the WS folder, not in the root.
I think this is because the server grabs its files based off of the current directory, which the batch scripts set to be root/WS
have u put the dbc folder in the koboldrootdir eg. kobold/dbcQuote:

do u have the dbc dir in root/dbc and root/ws/dbc just to be sure

Any ideas on how to get set bonuses working? If anyone can get them working, my server will be complete and I won't be paying for regular WoW anymore.
....hmm dunno for sure but i know some works well acctualy i didn't find non working bonuses can u provide me with some names ... pls that could help :)

I think I have found the issue. I do not have skillline.dbc in my dbc folder. Any idea why the extrator would have missed it? I have tried it again but no luck, if i can find where its extracting from it might help.
I finaly got it working, but whats the command to add items to my inventory and where can i find all the IDS?
