[Kobold V2] Outside connection issues...

I just set up my server with the help of DigitalEffect's guide and managed to succesfully log into my server. But i have two major issues that i cant seem to fix. The first thing is that no one else seems to be able to connect to my server. I gave my friend the servers ip address and told him to put it in his realm list. But he doesnt seem to be able to connect...he gets stuck at connecting and never gets in.
My other problem is that when i log in and make a character...my character is naked. And when i get items and such and log out, they disapear when i log back in and im naked again. If someone could help me solve these problems thatd be awsome. Thanks again.

jsut go delete /program files/world of warcraft/wtf/account/(account name)/cache5.md5 and restart wow and it should fix that, not sure about the friend not connecting, i have same problem, mine is with my router tho

I tried deleting that but it still doesnt work...hes always naked...

Plz can someone shed some light on this? Its really annoying having to buy all the items back everytime i log in.
