have just updated to 1273 now everytime a spell is casted the core starts laggin the server.
The scripts have been removed during revisions and readded later.
I would recommend NCDB.. tnps is basically dead as some developers went over to NCDB.
Which ones are for the client 2.1.3?

can't up it to filebeam, as i am not at home.. maybe some1 else can do it.
to use most of the gm scripts you just have to put them into the /scripts folder. they load automatically and are executed when starting the server.
most of of scripts make me unable to load in BT or karazhan or maybe some other dungeon....what would happen if the scripts were to be removed? its the only wat to let me load into BT and karazhan...

I can't have players in the Aliance cause it says i can't have both players in the Horde and in the Aliance .. i modified in ascent.conf soo that the server would be "Normal" and still doesn't work ..i use the 1287 core. Anyone else has this problem ?
they didn't change the revision number in the source. you can easily do that yourself.. it's just cosmetic.

hey i was geting a shit of errors trying to run this i use antrix rev 947 and that works great and stable but i was going to try something new but im geting creature_pro errors and stuff like that ne ideas?
Portals doesnt work as is should, i can only enter one portal and then i have to relog to enter a new portal. Is this a problem with the DB or the core?

I don't know what's wrong, but the Ascent.exe console says that I'm using the old creatureloot table. And, I don't have any NPC's at all. Please help me.
I had the same problem basically it must be a core issue since i was running 13xx and what happen was i spawned 2 portals when i go into 1 i see another when i try to go into this 1 nothing happens until i relog into the game.
So i rolled back to 1294 and all works perfect.

I was running ascent fine for a while until I upgraded and now my ascent.exe crashes after the line "Storage: 9 entries loaded from table zoneguards." I'm using ncdb and the latest rev in this thread i've also tried to go back to the rev I was using 1292. Any idea's?

ugh, i'm too tired to be able to test this :(. An important step of making trainer not reteach lower ranked spells. I ran a query and there are a lot of other spell that do not have ranking in dbc..so in case you need some other type of spells that are not working just drop by a message.

This should fix the :
- multi profession learning issue
- ability to learn lower ranks of same profession
Make sure you have the correct require spell set ..it should not let you learn spells if you have set this correctly in db (like rank2 talents).

Ascent build rev 1409....crashes.....
Hi guys!
I now download new ascent 1413 and when I trying logg to game.
Logonserver ok see characters and when join trying join game ascent auto close. anyone can help?
For me one of he most stable rev was 1343 ... it stoud up for more than 12h ..after that i closed it :D ..thing is that i don't have to many players soo it counts..i guess.
About the thing "crashing when log in" it happens to me on different rev's but it's because of some chars..not all ..still hadn't figured out what could be the reason ..maybe a skill or item or the place ..or who knows..
am using 1408 here seems stable enuff gonna try 1415 next.

why is rev 130+ enables akama to fight with illidan, but newer rev 140+ doenst enables akama to fight with illidan and +super crash core?

- search this text in player.cpp : "DEV, PLEASE PIMP MY RIDE"
- uncomment the next 2 lines lines , recompile and use
ps. This should not do no harm. You can use it even if you didn't get reports from player. You can use it in other revisions too, i'm just giving an example how to fix it for all players from emu side.
Will remove code after a few revisions since this has no place in a working rev.

* Tweaked movement to about the best it is going to get. To the people complaining about lag/skipping issues, get a better computer! You will get movement skipping if the other player is getting below about 10fps I found to be the bare minimum for smooth movement. This makes sense, because if they're lagging it can't process input quick enough, therefore it skips, it's like lag, except the client tries to compensate for it, so instead of it moving from one place to another in a "jerk" fashion, it will "skip" as the client tries to interpolate the position. There is *nothing* we can do about this server-side really, except encourage players to lower their settings or upgrade their specs. (from compboy: "BUY AN X850, FAG, ITS ONLY 100 BUCKS)

well since proccount was removed (tottaly agree with burl, sorry was trusting the src :( ) i added some cooldown to ai_agents
cooldown = casttime + duration + spcooldown (sice you are using mob spells most of the time spcooldown=0, casttime=0 (instant), Duration=0 if not aura ...maybe people will come with better formulas here)
if you wish to use this formula then execute this query

People I've just installed Ascent rev1431. But I have a problem. I've installed maps with maps extractor for enUS version and DB Next Chapter <ncdb> (I have World of Warcraft+TBC+2.1.3 patch). But when I want to enter the gme it says: Can't validate game version!
in your logonserver.conf look for

I got the mobs back, but i still have problems with becoming admin and using the commands.
I tried with both terranet rev 8 and milestone databases and with more than 5 different ascent revs and still cant use the commands.
Is there someone who can help me? c'mon i know someone out there knows a solution to the problem !!!

i was having the same problem when i update from 10xx to 13xx,so dont leave the server without update for a long time.i belive that something important change in the versions,i was forced to delete all characters of my friends(25 people)and start from the start.basicly i use the gm commands to restore the characters level and i give money 1 gold for 1 level(20 level 20 gold) so everybody was happy:cool3:.
