i am using ascent rev 1610 and i have a problem. I can log into my server and i am authenticated. I can create a new charater but as soon as i hit ok to go out to the charater selection screen the charater is not saved/shown to me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the cause/solution?

sounds to me like you missed something in one of your config files, most likely logonserver.conf

i'm using NCDB with ascent1610 but when i login there is no NPC and mobs, i tried execute the codes posted here by some people but i still can't see any NPC. Does any1 know wat is the problem and the solution for it?

maby this will give you a better idea of what im' talking about. to clairify. After i am in the charater creation screen, when i hit accept to go back to the charater selection screen there are no charaters but my dbase is telling me that there are. wtf. lol

open navicat
Open your Connection
Open the database
On top, click Query
Select : New Query
Copy and paste on at a time in there and click Run
Close it and repeat
