Ok, i've got everything up and running, everything seems good, except that Karazhan isn't working. It's not even there. Nothing happens when you go through the instance(the gate in front of it is gone also), no npc's are near the entrance either.
Well same for me I can't enter... I enter the "portal" after that i open the door then boom what u think show's up..? a WALL! :wallbash: So I can't do nothing to enter it!..
Well If u find out how to "break the Wall down"tell me :rolleyes: or someone else who know' "how to break "it fix will be cool thanks! :shifty:

Im getting Client crashes to players and there relog all gears gone when using Teleport devices but my server isnt crashing so seems maybe something buggy with the Teleportation Aspect... Any one have any suggestions on how to stop this when clients crash and login there items are gone, seems to happen when they use Transports

You are supposed to otherwise it will error back at you with an immediate shutdown.
I believe the line says something along the lines of:
"I am a newb who only read half my config file!"
or "I am a newb who read most of my config file but not nearly all of it!"
Just put // in front of it or backspace the whole line.

I went from 1290 to 1511, and i'm having a weird problem where all players items are bugged and they just have one thing in their bags, and its crashing pretty frequently.
im using ncdb as well.

Go into loginserver.conf and look for something called "MaxClientBuild = #"
Whatever number is there, change it to 9999, and then attempt. Hope that fixes it!
MentaL should find a script for +rep, anyway, it doesn't display because you don't have an ancent.exe running. Once the 2 files (Loginserver.exe, ascent.exe) are both up, they must remain up, and not be closed, otherwise, the realm goes down!
So, if you have an error keeping your ascent.exe up (it closes immediately or something), post your ascent.conf here and I'll look it over.
Oh, ok well I have them both up but It still doesn't show it (Keeping them up.) Heres my conf. of ascent.

Oh wait nvm I found out what was wrong, I created a new database and forgot to change my files to the correct one and I had some of the wrong info in the realm.conf.

The highest rev that will work for me is 1497 all of the above isnt working the ascent.exe doesnt work for me it just starts loads a little information and then cuts off i did everything correct.
I'm still at 1495 since I see no point in switching to anything higher yet, I've seen too many people having errors.

First time setting up ascent and I'm running 1539 using NCDB. Everything seems to be working fine except I can't seem to buy particular items from vendor NPCs. It just says "Item was not found". Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks in advance.

so, ive been slowly reading up on this a bit, and afew others, after getting stuck on mangos with a realmloop, i decided to trash everythin and start fresh with something else, so i started with this, everythings up to max rev, tnsp8 etc. and still get a realm loop. only get 1 error durring loading and thats with the creature_proto <42/36> not enough data, ive also read about adding maxversion to 9999 which i tried, and still get a realm loop. so slowly into getting most of these but its comming to me..

all these query came from svn history. most are posted not with the revision, they got changed. same with last creature_proto. it was announced by Zack a couple revs earlier.
since they change svn structure, there is only change-log from 1522 to latest. very bad move. (at least if you donwload trunk and not branches).

Updated from 1511 to 1576. Mobs and NPCs don't show up. I have tried to run the table creature_proto change but I get and unknown column error.

Hi im trying to get the stuff to run an Ascent/antrix server, Everything there? Do I just pick a core? (I picked the highest one) and get everything else? wich database do i need? (I picked Rev 8) Is this all I need to run it?
u need maps, dbc extracted from the game folder... Check guides for newbies... Use the search tool!
Updated to rev1595 and now I can't see npc's. I tried to add execute query from silvermoon but nothing. Where can I find right code for those npc's?
