Level 254 GM Character Always Misses
Heya.
I've created a level 254 Warrior GM Character for running around and helping out players on my server.
Though, i'm having a big problem with it.
I've set all skills / talents to maximum (ex. Two-Handed Swords 1270/1270 etc..) but my character's attacks seem to miss 80% of the time.
I've also tried with a Paladin character, with the same problem.
I'm not sure if i'm "missing" something here, but this seems rather strange.
It happens with all level NPCs, ranging from level 1 to level 70+.
Just to be a little more specific, i will start a fight against a Kobold Worker for example, then my character will attack, miss, parry all the NPC's attacks, attack and miss again.
Sometimes it can take up to 5-6 even 10 attacks before he actually lands one.
Thanks.

This is why Burlex hard coded it. After 70 the formulas get screwy.

No actually that's exactly the reason. The said he did train them. Don't whine when you don't inform yourself, there is a sticky about this in ascentemu.

.mod level will increases level, but not skills.
So what good is a lvl 254 GM, with sword skill at 1?
Furthermore, stats calculation are serioulsy messed up with levels higher then 70, as core officialy don't support it.
