Logging into normal wow account

Hey, when im trying logging into my account on my friends private server i log into normal wow... realmlist is okay and all, but it just keep logging into my normal account i hope anyone can help me with fixing this problem... Thanks!

errr, maybe you dont have the realmlist SAVED? because if the realmlist isn't correct, it shouldn't redirect you to retail, it should just say connection error or something

Don't use the launcher to log in.

No clue what it could be, it's just you, if noone else is having the problem, you're doing something wrong. Go over the steps again.

dont use the launcher to log in, otherwise it will patch ur realmlist to normal again

actaully a freind of mine had this same issue with Vista. It wouldnt let her save her ralmlist. It gave the error that the file already existed and could not be overwritten. Even when she took it out of the folder and put another one in. It did the same thing. Redirected to retial and then said connection error and then she couldnt get on either retail or private.

If Vista is doing that just copy it to the desktop, or move it, lets you save there, then copy it back.
