Looking WoW server without MySQL databases
Hello =)
I've been trying to get up a WoW server for quite awhile and fail each time I try. I have trouble with these MySQL databases and such... I was able to get up a server before without MySQL and it was totally easy! But I cant seem to find it anywhere! I think it was last summer that I had it and the account creation was a web form. That all I can remember about it. If anyone could point me in the direction of it or knows a *very simple* server that would be great!
I'm using this just for me so I don't care if connections are bad or anything
Thanks!

Re: Looking WoW server without MySQL databases
It was on a 1.something client, it was the first time I ever even played WoW so I didn't take in too many details. Sorry my details are so unclear.
EDIT: Found it! http://forum.ragezone.com/f114/guide...server-102826/ unfortunately the link for WoWemu.v0.4735.1.9.Patch.by.0SiRiS.exe is broken... I'll search around for it.

look around for a Marc's funserver. Good stuff... But if you are having problems with the MaNGOS server, just uninstall everything related, and download Xampp. Its an all in one deal, fast setup.

it's not that hard to make a server, you must only follow the guide they give you and you will be fine (mangos). I have a server setup on my pc (with mysql) you must only apply all the upgrades and u are ready to go. If you want a guide or a easy pack, reply this topic and i'll give you a link.
