[Mangos] 2.0.12-2.1.0 Silvermoon Database rev 5 Newest

Can anyone please please answer my post. I am really curious to see how other people are functioning on there server. I heard that people are using pets. I cant get those to work. Well just for hunters. Please anyone else having some of the instances with nothing in them? Please let me know.

P.S.

Oh ya does anyone know how to get the teir 5 stuff. You need the honor and ticket things to get it. You cant just buy it. Is there a way to get the ticket things and then buy it. Also all the arena gear requires honor and faction and ticket points. How the heck do you get that when you cant even do an arena?

Sory get use to it in this mode.Like you said you need honor and items for those ,that if you are a playrer.If you are owner of server you can do whatever you like.

What's new?

- Updated to SDB Changeset 186

- Black Temple 1/3 spawned
- Tempest Keep: The Eye fully spawned
- Random Hyjal spawns removed (normal hyjal, not Old Hyjal)
- All random items and duplicate tiersets removed (1200 items)
- GM Island Vendors redone, they have the real items now
- The Botanica fully spawned
- The Mechanar 1/2 spawned
- Shadowmoon Valley cleaned up and blizzified
- Many little fixes from the forum added
- Many quests fixed
- Mining in Outland fixed (veins spawned and loot added)
- Adamantite/Khorium veins will come in rev 6
- Many other little things have been added also, I dont remember them anymore atm

i downloaded the two parts {core & database} and im assuming i need my own map files...but what else is needed and where does everything go?....

I am the owner of the server. I am trying to figure out how to get honor so I can buy the gear. if someone could give me the command of how to add honor / faction I would really appreciate it.

oh man you just go and edit your items with a tool like Navicat /SQLYOG or Phpadmin i`m sure you didn't touch them in your life.And trust me i will not learn you HOW To use those because are so much tutorials on ragezone .
So if you know to sue those tools you can do whatever you like to your database

I have both Navicat and SQLYOG, but when you look in the database under creature_template or npc_vendor what do you change. They are all numbers and none of them make sense. All I am looking for is to change arena points to money or how ever you do what you do to get them. An earlier version of mangos didnt even have the arena points or honor attached, you could just buy them. I have searched all around and found ways to make custom vendors but you still cant add the item without having the arena points attaching themselves to the item. So my question again is how do you change it so you can buy it.

Well then make in this way enter in game go to NPC which sell your items then choose whatever armour ,wepon you wanan and put his name in this game command
.Lookupitem Nameitemhere
this will list the code of that item lets say entry:91233
after this go in Phpadmin in item_template and use Search entry and put that code ,This will get you directly to your item there select edit and you can do whatever you wanna in there.

or....and this is just an idea....

say your looking at the item you want on the vendor

as an admin account, choose yourself and type

.additem

- and press and hold shift and click the item you want on the vendor - this will put the item name after the .additem.
so it should look like this ex: .additem [item name]

press enter and you should have the item in inventory

if you need more then one of the item put a space after and the amount needed
ex: .additem [item name] 10

Well waite a bit like 2-3 hours we will release a Easy repack which will be fully installed with
-core 3768 rev 49
-database Silvermoon Rev 6
-Fully Updates do DB for be compatible wit Silvermoon db
-Most Awesome Forum you will ever seen in a release
What you will need to do .Well Nothing Just Click Install and after that
Start from Control panel and server will be fully operational.

I told you why I made the guide, it was for people who didn't know how to setup a Server.

you'd know this if you actually read it.

whoa...sorry iv been reading alot of pages around here and for what ever reson never saw that post....

so now im assuming this is one ill have to run my own sql server for and it doesnt have it built in?
