Mangos 2.1.3 TBC Client

    Hi,

    Question aimed at seasoned Mangos users.

    I downloaded and setup the following release:

    Mangos 4079 Changelog --->
    Corrected unlimited gain of combopoints. Fixed spelling in mangosd.conf

    { --- plus! ---}

    Note : Mem Usage some high!
    I have setup MySQL v5.0, populated the Mangos database with the rev10 SilverDB and realmd from the above release. I used the provided DBC files as the ones I extracted seemed to cause errors (i.e. field lengths being the incorrect size etc).

    I applied the provided patches to the Mangos DB which fixed the Mangos startup errors and so far it all works fine. I am able to log in and create characters, mess around in the game world however I have noticed the TBC content does not work, its greyed out.

    My client is has the expansion pack installed as well as being updated to the latest 2.1.3 account (I still own a Warcraft TBC account).

    I have checked the mangos.conf file and made sure I enabled TBC content however I still get greyed out characters in the character creation screen. When I attempt to enter TBC content e.g. walking through the dark portal I receive the following message:

    "You need the expansion pack...."

    Scratching my head on this one, not sure what needs to be set for the server to recognise TBC is installed or am I being a little too ambitous and the current flavours of Mangos don't fully support TBC content (i.e. items only, no locations or instances etc)?

    If anyone can recommend a suitable Mangos release and associated Database please let me know.

    Thanks in advance,

    Fz

    Fixed my issue, was twofold.

    Firstly you need to ensure the TBC column for the player account is set to 1 to enable TBC content (located in the realmd database).

    My Mangos database was corrupt so after a rebuild+patch its all working now.
