I cant use the MDH, i just keep geting an access denied. So is there another way to edit my accounts for gm?

I guess flying mounts really are no good until good releases of TBC servers are released.

I tried making one. All I get is the buff though, no mount, no flying.

like I told you... download the maps from here (~240Mb)
just search for the tbc retail maps and all should be working

what files do we change to put our server online? which ones exactly and where.

I tried to install this server/TBC today. However, after I create/select a character and get into the realm, it just froze there. What is wrong?

It works fine for LAN play right out of the box.
All you need to do is create a few accounts in the database and you're set to play.

go into your server folder find realm.conf and mangosd.conf open them with note pad and change the ip from 127.0.0.1 to your ip and do the same for your realmlist you should be set and ready to play online

I was using the accounts right out of the box (admin, gamemaster, b - moderator), however, whenever after I login and select a character and go into the realm, it just froze right there (I can see the realm - city).. The same thing happen when I create a new character too. :scratch: My computer didn't freeze. I can still use my mouse, however, the screen was not moving and I couldn't switch out from the WoW fullscreen.

Is there a way to change the resolution of the game, or change to window mode, without entering the game (realm)?

Create a new account in the DB and it won't crash near as much. Do it either manually, with MDH or via the webpage.

You can change window mode by opening up the config file in your WoW directory and modifying the proper attribute.

Well, acculy, i'm downloading TBC right now as we speak, and when it's done, i'm going to try this, and I know i'll be able to play first thing, but then have errors here and there, and while i'm on the topic with errors, can I, or anyone else help you in programming the bugs out and trying to make it better? If so, I would like to know how, I also would like to know if I or anybody else can report bugs from in-game that we found so you can fix it? Just asking :)

TBC is not supported by the official mangos dev team so you will need to address any issues with this release in private or here on the forums.

When mangosproject officially supports TBC then you can address the issue on their support ticket website and have the bugs weeded out over time. I would bet that within the next 2-6 months mangos officially supports TBC, but I can't guarantee that, so you might as well just play with it here.

There is a release coming called Project Silvermoon so when that comes out there will be a plethora of fixes to this current version of the TBC retail server.

Now if you don't want to download all 2 gigs you can try the beta server which actually has more functionality than this release, such as flying mounts. The thread for that is listed on page one of this topic, but it's the same info as on Filebabe.com so you can just grab it there if you use common sense while downloading.
