Mangos Connection Issue

Currently i am running a mangos server and i have been for some time, recently for some completely unknown reason it will allow some players to connect and others it will not. This has only happened recently say a week or so and before that there was not a single problem, everything is set up correct and it should work but dosent has anyone else had this or any advice on fixing.?

lol, how could he be running a private server? He's already said that some people can connect and some people can't, and that he previously had no problems at all. Anyways, sentinel, did you happen to install anything extra, like a firewall replacement or something similiar?

nah the setup is exactly the same and nothing has happend to any of the configuration or database files. My first thought was packet shaping due to my previous ISP provider used to use packet shaping at peak times to increase normal usage of the web for non gamers. but this seems to effect random people in different ways, you can connect but you have to keep trying for a long tim to get it going. I have even gone to the point of changing the port wow runs on to see if it was a port issue but nothing.

so any other ideas welcome
