Mangos connection problems

My friend just set up a WoW server , I can connect to it just fine, but when I do connect the choose server list comes up, I select the server that he has set up and it says connecting to server and then the select server list comes up again. We both have the same version of WoW (1.12.1) and the same version of MaNGOS.

anyone have any info on what this problem is or how to correct it?

My friend that is hosting the server is now saying that he can only connect through local host ip 127.0.0.1

ye thats true , he have to make dns adress to other ppl being able to connect to it :)
