Mangos DB Update

I'm not sure if I have the latest mangos or not. I think I have an older version, how do I update the database? And also I created an item with the item creator website I chose mangos...i copied and pasted as a new query into Navicat 8, and it says i dont have a mangos.item file or .item file. How do I get that file?

Hm, I have never used MaNGOS, not Navicat 8 so I cannot provide an answer for that last question but to check if you have the up to date version check this:
