[MaNGoS] #DisplayID question

In the Itemlist @ MySQL there are all items listed, they have a DisplayID, this ID stands for .m2 in the common.mpq located in WoW\Data.

I wish to create a new (my own) weapon. I've put it in the common.mpq and now i have to get the DisplayID for it... any ideas?

dumbass u need to put it in your database :) not mess with your mpq's

dot...your wrong, if his model editing then it goes in the MPQ because its a server side aswell as a client side modification so how bout you find these things out before going wild

so the question is gas are you making a completly new model for a weapon or just creating a new weapon with an old model?

im not sure how you would go about the model editing one
