Mangos Error

I can login, but I once again am recieving errors.

You got the realmd DB batched and edited with your IP or the realmlist you have supported from a host site? Along with editing your .conf to match your username/password. Along with just batching the basic two Silver's DBs or have you done something else? Looks like an error with the .conf or whatever you use to batch files/run server info (ex: SQLyog). But I'm not completely sure. Sorry if I'm not too helpful.

And you've edited your .conf files to match your username/password? What files have you batched into the mangos and realmd DBs? From the sql folder or Silver's DB, either on this forum or the actual SDB forum?

Alright, well that has caused a lot of errors for me. What Rev for mangos are you running?

What I recommend you do is get Revision 2748 and then go http://forum.ragezone.com/world-warc...-166402-2.html Find the post by urbin and under SDB Full Patch get "SDB 0.5.3_305 - 2748 Database --->" You can also get the Revision here if you don't want to go to the the other link I posted.

Basically. You download the Rev. Extract it. Replace all existing Mangos files in the folder you created for it. Thus emptying your DBs and batching the new Silver's DB, mangos.sql and realmd.sql. I noticed you posted a lot of error threads? Lol..

Did you try this? Let me know if it helped you with your troubles? Also go into control panel, Windows Firewall, exceptions, add port. (If you have windows firewall, if not reply and I'll tell you the other way) Add ports 3306, 8080, 8085. UDP and TCP. Meaning you'll create two of the same port; just one UDP and another TCP.

So, I don't need to run ad again? Since it seems as though it was already done here..so I can just re-batch everything in sql, configure the mangos/realm stuff accordingly, and call it a day?

Yeah, as long as you got the right dbc and maps files. As in extracted from your WoW folder with ad.exe and dbc from this forum or the easy way. (Won't get into that, might just confuse you) But yes, just replace all existing Mangos files in the folder, even the sql folder. Save the newly downloaded Silver DBs in the C:\ Driver, and empty your DBs through SQLyog and re-batch. Along with editing your Realmlist in realmd and your .conf files.

I'm getting a weird error, with whenever I try to run add, it simply says, 'Error opening archive .data/patch.mpq-2' What the hell?

Does this new stuff support a different version of WoW? Those are files from the 1.12.1 patch.

Well they all work on 1.12.1, What version of WoW do you use? Make sure you go ad.exe in your World of Warcraft folder and you create a new folder called Maps.

Wtf..whenever I try to run ad in the data folder, it simply gives me an error opening up all the appropriate archives, then it crashes out.

You don't run ad.exe in the data folder. You run it in the normal WoW folder, and make a Maps folder. God you're retarded. No offence. Give me your msn and let me app share. So I can do it myself. You'll keep making the tiny errors that screw the entire thing up. Read the manual I sent you in my last post and completely start over with your server.

I did do that, I placed the ad.exe into the root directory with a folder in there I made, I named it 'Maps', then I ran the ad.exe and it simply gives me an error reading 'Can not open archive patch-2.mpq, but anyway, my MSN is 'DoomedDes@Gmail.com'
