Mangos help please (2.0.6 BC)

Hello, i am kind of newb WoW servers. So far i've managed to run an offline UWC 1.3.4 WoW 1.8 Server successfully.

Now i am trying to run a single-player-mangos-offline server but am having some trouble.

I am using the most recent repack where you extract start.bat to C:\ and click it.

I can create an account and log into the main page but it won;t allow me to create a character.

The server comes up under the name of "emu sandbox' or along those lines.

So pretty much, i can create an account, but cannot create a character as it gives me no option on the character select screen.

Can anyone help me please?

Also what do maps do? are they required to run a server?

try some of repacks here they will work for sure that what you have its TBC and its realy BUGED O.o with realy i mean seriously =/
