    Mangos in lan

    Hi everyone ,

I would like to ask a (mostly) silly question.... I made a great server with MANGOS but i can't connect to it
via lan. It just finds the server makes the logon but it promts me to repick server all the time. What's wrong? In the other pc(not the server) i modified the wow files to search to the lan ip of the server. i haven't change though the sql database from 127.0.0.1 to pc's ip.

    Can anyone help?

    Keep up the good work!!!

fatman we have the same lan ip!!! You said that you used the lan ip for the computer. Where do you put this ip apart from wow realmlist? I mean in the mangosd? Or sql database?

so it sould be something like that:
    set realmlist 192.168.0.1

i already have changed that!!! Does your server is not accessible from lan when you are not connected to the internet??

    Omg...

If you would have actually READ the guide "how to set up a server", then I'm sure they would have explained -_-

If you didn't know that you actually had to open the database in order to change the realm's IP, then I suggest you'd read some guides before you open your server...
