    [Mangos] mangos.exe issue

I'm using Mangos Core Rev. 4696 + Script Dev Rev. 152, this is one posted by Karnage in the sticky for mangos cores. also i am using SDB 18.5a, and my wow verson is 2.2.3. I keep geting this error when i try running the mangos.exe. the realmd runs fine.

" Character database not defined in conf."

Is this just a bad core or is this an error that i can easily fix?

If not does anyone know a good core for 2.2.3 or 2.3? i would like to stay mangos if possible

im using a config from the 2.1 server build, core build done by karnage didnt come with one.

what should the lines look like? is there another config file that was added to the 2.2.3 build?

i think the problem is that i just need to create the third db then restore the characters.sql and put the line in the config.

Karnage files do not come with the config files. The mangos config or the realm config. Don't ask me why they haven't been supplied since he took put that sticky together. The repacks are worthless with out the config's and that's what most ppl have been trying to get ahold of. And or trying to figure out what the config's actually need in them to make the repacks work. I tried them out ONCe and used ones from another repack and I'll never go back to them again. Wasted time, accounts, char's, and so forth. I tried asking him in pm for aSSISTENCE BUT THERE WAS NO REPLY. "Damn caps" Oh well. No wonder why most ppl are trying to use ascent. A mangos repack that's almost worthless with out telling the person what needs to be what.

    My 2 cents :P

    P.S. I'm still on 2.1.3(6896) Because I can't find a worth while repack.
